Frequently Asked Questions

How Bloom differ from other collagen products?

Unlike the common berry flavoured collagen supplements that you can find in the pharmacies, Bloom offers you a conventional way to consume collagen by pre-adding it into our favourite beverages like coffee and chocolate. Not only saving your time, you can now replenish your daily needs with good taste!

How much collagen in one serve of Bloom?

Every recommended single serving size of Bloom contains 5000mg of pure collagen peptides.

What is the source of Bloom collagen?

To serve you best, we use Pure Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen Peptides (Type-I) extracted from 100% fish scales in Korea which proven to boost absorption and bio-availability due to its low molecular weight.

How many serves in a package of Bloom?

According to our serving recommendation at 40g per serve, a 600g package of Bloom can prepare 15 serves. You may adjust the serving size based on your personal preference.

When should I drink Bloom and how many times daily?

You may consume Bloom anytime of the day as collagen protein can be absorbed efficiently at the same time needed by our body throughout the day. Most customers take coffee during the day for caffeine boost and chocolate at night as a stress reliever.

Are there any artificial flavouring, colouring, or preservatives added?

No, we do not add any artificial flavouring, colouring or preservatives in all Bloom collagen beverages. By adhering to our core value – Health, we always source for pure and natural ingredients as possible.

Do I add hot, room temperature, or cold water?

We suggest to use hot water for easier dissolve process because pure and real coffee/cocoa powder are being used in making Bloom collagen beverages. Cold water or ice cubes can be added later.

Does collagen get denatured if I add hot water?

No, collagen does not get denatured in your cup. In fact, the denaturing process (break-down) is normal and it happens naturally in your body during the process of digestion. Collagen peptides are already in denatured form after hydrolysis process with small molecular weight for better and efficient absorption. Hence, collagen peptides are good in hot liquids as water boils at 100°C (85°C when serving), well below the temperature at which they become unstable, which falls on 300°C and above according to the Biophysical Journal.

Is Bloom vegan-friendly?

No, Bloom is not vegan-friendly as marine collagen peptides are being used.

Is Bloom Halal certified?

Yes, Bloom is Halal certified by Jakim’s Panel (Halvec).

Can I take Bloom as a meal replacement?

Although Bloom is not formulated specifically for weight management, collagen protein can keep your stomach full. Researchers concluded that collagen increases satiety, which can lead to subsequent reduced calorie intake, thereby promoting weight loss. To put this into simple terms, collagen protein promotes fullness and keeps our body feeling satisfied after a serve.

Can breastfeeding or pregnant mums consume Bloom?

Based on reports, one should consume proper quantities of collagen intake during pregnancy or postpartum period to support bone, joint, hair, and skin health, ease sleeping, improve gut health and immunity, as well as recovery from labour and delivery. Even though Bloom is safe and healthy while we do not add any artificial and medicinal properties, we would still advise you to consult a doctor before any consumption.
